Rev. Richard Boeck

Rev. Richard Boeck makes his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he lives with his wife, Susan, a Lutheran school teacher in the central city, and two of their seven children. Rev. Boeck has a B.A. from Concordia Senior College, Ft. Wayne, Indiana (Liberal Arts), a Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana (Systematic Theology), and a Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. studies. Rev. Boeck served as a pastoral intern in the Panama Canal Zone and has been a parish pastor in Montana, North Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. He retired in 2004 from the United States Naval Reserve having served for 27 years as a chaplain, including shipboard, hospital, and Construction Battalion, and recruit training duty with the Marine Corps during 7 years of active duty and mobilization for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Chaplain Boeck was the Commanding Officer of 3rd MEFREL 322, a Third Marine Expeditionary Force Chaplains’ Unit as well as holding other Supervisory Chaplain billets. Rev. Boeck was the Founder and first President of Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative, Inc., which he founded in order to develop a new approach to Christian education and Gospel outreach to our nation’s central cities. Rev. Boeck is the author and publisher of “Today’s Devotion” published six days a week.

Mrs. Sarah Cours

Mrs. Sarah Cours is a certified Earth/Life Science and Vocational Home Economics teacher with  24 years experience teaching in Texas. She has taught a broad range of students in public middle and secondary schools, including several  elementary school experiences as a substitute teacher,  gifted and talented programs, pre-AP programs, co-teaching Special Education, and teaching mainstream students with special needs. Mrs. Cours earned an Associate of Arts in Education, graduating as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, from Navarro College, Corsicana, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and Vocational Home Economics from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas. Mrs. Cours served as a member of the Pearland I.S.D. committee that designed the middle school science curriculum; she specifically contributed to the development of hands-on laboratory investigations, crafting learning activities, and writing chapter and standardized tests. Mrs. Cours has also served as a Harris County deputy County Clerk, an EMT with Pearland Emergency Medical Service, and on the Emergency Response Team in her local schools. In 2005 she retired from public education as the science department chair. Mrs. Cours works with the students of  NEW American school in the academics department as a grader.

Mr. Jeff Carter

Mr. Jeff Carter is the Academic Dean for Hot Springs Christian School and Arkansas Prep. Mr. Carter was raised in Miami, Fl and has been active in the education of students since 1982. He began his ministry experience under the discipleship of Dr. Jack Graham in West Palm Beach, Fl. Mr. Carter was licensed to the ministry in 1985 and ordained in 1993. Over the past twenty-three years, he has served as a teacher, pastor, music evangelist, and associate pastor. Mr. Carter is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University and Dallas Theological Seminary. Along with his B.A. and M.A., he holds a lifetime professional certificate from ACSI in the field of Biblical Studies.

Dr. Wendy Hale-Erlich

Dr. Wendy Hale-Erlich

Dr. Wendy Hale-Erlich earned a Ph.D. in Geology from Brown University in 1982. She has over 25 years of applied science work experience in the private sector, and now runs her own consulting company. Dr. Hale-Erlich is a Texas Licensed Professional Geologist and has published research in professional journals. She is a past associate editor for the AAPG Bulletin and past editor of the HGS Bulletin. Dr. Hale-Erlich has also taught geoscience at both 2 and 4 year colleges.
