A comprehensive integrated program to train students to Read-Study-Test-Write better, faster, easier, and independently. Known by its initials – RSTW – this program has been the foundation for success since 1996.
Read – This is the latest version of the famous Mega Reading program which was seen on TV and sold a million copies. Howard Berg, “the World’s Fastest Reader,” updates his program for the 21st Century and customizes it for our audience. Dr. Kuni Beasley enriches this program with higher level reading strategies that equip students to read faster, comprehend more, and organize their information better.
Study – Using the ROAD Method – Read-Organize-Analyze-Document – students use Advanced Reading Strategies and innovative Note-Taking-Techniques to Gather, Process, and Apply information. Students are introduced the use of Tables in MS Word to Organize and Analyze information, and Tables are used to format notes in study sheets for tests or as templates for writing assignments. Study was developed exclusively for this program by Dr. Kuni Beasley.
Test – Systematic Strategies to prepare for and take tests. Specific strategies and techniques are applied to different levels of tests from Matching and Multiple Choice to Rhetorical Essay exams. Each type of test requires a unique preparation strategy and a specific testing-taking-technique which are explained and applied. Time management for testing and test preparation is included in this program developed exclusively by Dr. Kuni Beasley.
Write – All writing, whether it is a one page brief or a thousand-page dissertation, can be done using one or more of the four classical writing templates developed exclusively for this program by Dr. Kuni Beasley. In years of research, Dr. Beasley synthesized western writing into four easy to understand and easy to use templates drawn from classical Greek forms, through the Renaissance, to modern composition. The templates are universal and can be used for academic, creative, and business writing, and can even be used for poetry. Using the templates makes writing easier, faster, and better organized.
